AFAIK there is no AMD optimised compiler (for c++), did you see one on the AMD website ?

Thanks spellforce I get it now. Will keep trying different options to see if i can get any benefit from this.

Gombit, I'm in the same boat as you. I am actually getting less FPS than with VC++ builds. I haven't tried any of spellforce's builds but I think I'm about to give it a shot. I think that I don't have the right optimizations picked or something.

http://www.mediafire.com/?m53tyjxonyy 5030 SSE3 x64 http://www.mediafire.com/?wdjkio3jyjy 5030 SSE3 x64 rebuild (maybe little faster and was tested) 5021 x64 build quite fast for me so sad that after reconfig to make it better I forget that setting T_T
I tested ur builds again on a completely different computer(C2D) but this time under xp32 and SSE3/SSE4.1 instead of win7 x64. Same result. Absolutely no speed gain, i just hope that ppl who are claiming they have speed increase are testing it also properly. Cuz i personally doubt that, most ppl are not even aware that we 've some shader cache stuff going etc.. And every time u start dolphin u already have a few percent fluctuation by itself.
However no increase on core2duo systems for me at all, doesn't matter which rev i compared, i cant comment on quads tho. Thats why it would be better to distinguish between quads and dualcore cpu's in your Poll. C2D 2.4Ghz; 4GB; Geforce 9700M; Win7/X64.

i am comparing properly and i get 2-5 fps increases!
i just start up ssbb w/ gc pad and inactive wiimote then press start ...... i do the same drill over and over for everyone's builds and spellforces is the fastest! is intel c++ free so that i can try compiling too?
