alright the 4949 64x works better than your other by like +1 fps even though i don't have sse4.2 support on my graphics card
mine only goes up to sse3 but still your compiles are getting better fps as you go! keep up the good work! also you could track things more accurate if you compiled builds more often to track bugs and broken things if they occur better... just saying but still keep up the good work oh and i stopped using orleans when you came out with yours because your are faster than his for me

I believe this is true for all Nehalem core processors (i3, i5, i7) but I'm not positive.

Doesn't seem to gain any fps on my rig (Phenom 720) compared to mamario and orleans build, I guess this won't benefit people with AMD cpu.
btw, did you apply the AMD fix patch for Intel compiler, spellforce? 01-25-2010, 10:13 PM
ok tried your 4949 and the speed is still the same with the vs compiles for me.

OGL or D3D / x32 or x64 (almost no optimize for OGL) just want to know because I'm test at AMD too, anyway speed will be close if you use in normal situation, but you maybe see speed increase in the clean system (no open program , defrag ram) 01-26-2010, 03:37 AM
Windows 7 x64 D3D, I frequently use cleanmem for ram cleaning but there were some program running in the background (though usually this doesn't affect dolphin).
I tested heavy scene on Tales of Graces (scene in town with people), I'll test more though for now most of my games already run at full speed on normal compile. :| |
