Dolphin 5 instantly crashes as soon as I open it

Since I have seen the dolphin 5 teaser I got it and installed smash bros to play. When I opened dolphin 5 it instantly crashed and my computer gave me the message "Dolphin Quit Unexpectedly". So I decided to open dolphin up through spotlight. Where it does what the image shows for a bit, if I click on the top corner name of the application it doesn't open anything. Then it crashes. I have looked around places to see if anyone has reported this issue and it seems like no one has. Does anyone have a fix?

I would like to add that I downloaded dolphin off the official download site.

Which version of OS X do you have?

Version 10.9.5

There is a known problem with the combination of that version of OS X and Dolphin 5.0, which always makes Dolphin crash when you start it. It should work if you upgrade OS X.
