I recently built a new PC and Dolphin was working fine but now it will not open, or rather it will open for a split second and close down. No error message or anything. I've tired reinstalling, deleting all folders, trying a newer version of Dolphin, nothing seems to be working. I got Dolphin 4.0 x86 working, but its pretty outdated. I'd really appreciate some help.
Dolphin 5.0+ will only open for a brief second, then crash

Turn off Fast Boot in Windows Power Options, and then reboot to see if this fixes your problem.
Also check if there are any BIOS or AMD updates available for your computer 04-07-2020, 02:05 AM
Delete the Dolphin Emulator folder in Documents. (Backup your game saves if you have any).

I wonder if Windows Defender is messing with Dolphin (again)...
Go to Windows Defender´s options and create an exception for both folders (the one created in Documents, and the folder where you extract Dolphin). Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.
