Its actually an issue that many people had after the removal of the Audio framelimit, because then it defaulted to the new setting in the #2 slot, 5 fps

We are definitely going to have to make a note of that for users upgrading from 4.0 to 5.0!

Can we have it auto-update to the first slot when it gets installed (assuming we'll go the install path again?)

Well, when 4.0 launched with the new Clean theme you guys did some trick in the code (or in the INI, don't remember) to automatically update existing INI to the new theme instead of Boomy. Couldn't that trick be applied again with Frame Limit?

Lately i have been dealing with some annoying bug with dolphin on my new windows 10 x64 (dolphin 5 AND latest builds). I think it started after i installed this new OS (update over windows 8.1, not clean install). SOMETIMES, whenever i press alt + enter it will not return from full screen. I have to press "esc" and then "no" (to not stop the emulation). From there i can have access to the emulator GUI again and the game will keep playing on full screen on the "background". This only happens on D3D backend.
I saw a topic about it on github i guess. Only difference is that this problem doesn't happen all the time (most of the time, though) I can provide more information on this problem if asked. If it helps, it seems that my windows 10 hate going full screen with other console emulators, including Project 64 with jabo's plugins. I think my old Windows 8 was also very pick with it. VGA is Radeon HD 7750, using the newer AMD driver (i updated both the OS and the driver almost at the same time, so probably is something related to the driver... not the OS...) However, i wasn't using this emulator for several months and even back then, i used to use the open gl backend mostly. So, this D3D issue could be older than i think. 09-04-2015, 11:57 AM

Edit Reason: Meant "Rather NOT download a version..."
)
So, I know this isn't a bug report thread, but I just wanted to say that with 5.0-rc-19 x64, which I am currently using as of a few days ago, there is an issue in several games that involves audio completely cutting out for no apparent reason at random intervals.
The reason I'm saying something about it here is because I wanted to ask if any of the subsequent release candidates have had this issue addressed, or whether I should just download a development build or stable release instead I would appreciate any help, as I would rather not download a version that still has this annoying bug. P.S. The aforementioned audio bug did not appear to be present in the previous Dolphin release I had been using. 09-04-2015, 01:10 PM
5.0-rc-25 is now available on the download page! Everyone please remember to use the latest release candidate when testing!

Ok, I will update and check if the issue persists. If it does, so be it. Quote:You didn't say which games... And this. Sorry about that, it completely slipped my mind to specify which games I experienced a problem with. Namely the two games I have been experiencing the audio problem with are Luigi's Mansion (GC) and New Super Mario Bros. Wii. 09-04-2015, 01:50 PM
I know that Luigi's Mansion at least is one of the Zelda ucode games whose audio got fixed by the HLE audio rewrite in the latest development builds, but New Super Mario Bros Wii isn't in the list, so I'm not sure what's wrong with that one. You should at least try a development build to see if it fixes Luigi's Mansion, though.
