Hello,
I've used Dolphin quite a bit over the years but I've run into a problem that I am unsure how to solve. I was modifying where Dolphin looks for ISOs when the program started to hang a bit so I force quit the program and attempted to open it again. Dolphin now will not start when I attempt to open it. The icon appears on the dock and the fan spins up like it does when its usually running, but no error messages appear and none of the dolphin menus appear either, no matter how long I wait. When the icon on the dock is clicked, the Application Not Responding text is shown and the only real option is to force quit. Reinstalling Dolphin from the site does not solve the problem (was using 5.0 when the problem occurred and have continued to try using 5.0 since). My OS is 10.11.4.
One interesting thing I noted was that when force quitting dolphin now, the message does not give the name for the Application. I've provided a screenshot of this below:
I am unsure if it is relevant but maybe it is. I'd love to hear from anyone who may have experienced this problem before or knows a solution.
