Hi

i have bought the mayflash sensor bar and i still have my original wii controller-nunchaku.

Well, where can I find a quick guide useful to configure the sensor bar with the emulator and nunchaku? Have you updated it as suggested on the supplier website? http://www.mayflash.com/products/nintendowiigc/w010.html

is it easy to update/configure it?

thank you

The sensor bar does not need and cannot be configured. All a sensor bar does is emit IR light, and this is true for the "sensor bar" part of the DolphinBar.

ok, so i only have to plug and play it in my pc and automatically it recognize my Wii nuchacku? I need to configure anything in Dolphin 5.0?

Another question: do you suggest do download the latest Git version of Dolphin? currently it is released the 5.0.385 version  (i don't know what does it mean " Git"...I find this in a lot of new version of emulators...)

thanks!

It's pretty much plug and play. Plug it, connect the Wiimote to the DolphinBar, and configure Dolphin to use one or more real Wiimotes.

Git is a (distributed) version control system. The "Git versions" are development versions that are updated every time a new change is merged to the main Git repository.

I would suggest using development versions, but using 5.0 is currently fine also (as it is still very recent).

ok! thanks! only 2 questions:

1) there are 4 different led mode: in order to use my original Wii remote plus controller+ nunchaku, I have to use LED 3 or LED 4? Probably LED 4, because it seems that with LED 3 I can use the sensor bar with original Wii console...or Am I wrong? And at the first syncing, i have to press SYNC button both on sensor bar and Wii remote controller...but I don't find this button on the wii remote controller...!?

2) here there are 2 different updates, the 1st on the Feb 10 2015 and the 2nd on the 3 Aug 2016.
I think that I have first of all update the 1st file, and then the 2nd.
And following the instructions in the manual included in the box, it seems that when I have to update the firmware, I have first of all to run .exe update file, then unplug the sensor bar, press ad hold SYNC button and plug it again. At this point then I have to release the SYNC button and I will find Update button. Is it correct?

thank you!

Mode 4 exposes the Wiimotes as raw HIDs (human interface devices), and is what you want for real Wiimotes. All the other modes will not do what you want.

The Wii remote's sync button can be found on the battery cover on newer models (most of them are). If it's an older model, you may have to remove it to see the sync button.

I didn't have to update it, and I don't use Windows (so it is impossible to update anyway), so I cannot help you there.
