Hi all.
I decided to create this thread to ask rather simple questions.
Does Dolphin now requires newer versions of GL to be supported in hardware?
I just checked https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/b...L/main.cpp
... and it seems to need at least GL 3 for most functions. Which according to certaing lookups (GPU-Z database) the HD 3000 complies (the site indicates that it supports up to GL 3.1).
However, whenever I choose GL for testing, the adapter dropdown list gets greyed out. Trying to boot any game will show an error message (Failed to create context for shader compiling).
While I am aware that HD 3000 is not officially supported, I thought it still complied with certain requirements. If it´s about something I missed, let me know.
EDIT: Wanted to make clear that the dropdown list being greyed out happens on Qt. In WX it will not appear at all.
