Hi, first time posting. Just a quick question. I've seen a few tests on YouTube, and apparently the Xperia XZ2 is the best phone on the market for emulating NGC/Wii games (and all other emulators as well, but that's besides the point). And Dolphin 5.0-6199 is apparently the best version for this phone model. The only problem is the small lags/stuttering when Dolphin is writing cache.

So my question is this: since Dolphin most likely will be popular on the XZ2, and it's stated that version 5.0-6199 does the best job. Would it be possible to copy cache between different XZ2s running the same version of Dolphin? Like, could I start a thread specifically for this model and version, and people could share cache?

Thanks for any response.

Edit : also, since cache is hardware specific, could it also be transferred between different versions of Dolphin, if in fact any of this is possible?

If I'm not mistaken the devs are working on making shaders more platform agnostic thus allowing for certain types of shader cache to be moved from system to system. I do not know how far and long they are with that though.
Check my profile for up to date specs.

We have a platform-agnostic shader UID cache now, but 5.0-6199 is too old to include it. I'm not sure why 5.0-6199 in particular would be recommended over later versions...

Idk, it's just what the guy in the video I watched said, and he seemed to know his stuff  so I just blindly trusted him :-P

Thanks for the info though  I remember when cemu implemented transferable cache in v. 1.4.1 or something. The community went bananas and started cooperating with creating cachefiles..
