Yes i know that. But opengl on linux is more powerful compared to directx and opengl on windows. Thats why i currently use linux on my laptop. Because i can get better performance. But my issue is the cpu. Since changing from x2 to x3 internal resolution makes no differences in speed. Only when i change to x4 it gets slower, so the gpu probably handles well at x2 internal res. Not to mention that the gpu never goes above 62°C on linux, on windows it goes immediately to 80°C while performance is actually worse.
In terms of cpu, its exactly the same on both OS. Im going to test it out without turbos and HT and see the differences.
I,m really glad with the linux version though. Its amazing and i never thought it would be better off on linux, cuz you know. Its the old linux is this, windows is that but i guess that ''see for yourself'' is the thing in this situation.
