dolphin 4.0 8140 controler problem

not sure when this happend but basicly i been playing last story on emulator 4.0 7630 and i just tryd the latest build but the game will constantly ask me to connect the numchuck. i am using xbox controler.. is there a setting i have to enable or somthing for it to work? i tryd pressing alt f4 to reconnect but it ses it disconects again..i dont get this happening with the other build. allso i get screen tearing when i try to use opengl.. i thought open gl was suppost to be working best with nvidia graphics cards? i am using sli 980tis.
