That would be assuming he has the PAL version (there is no no hash for for NTSC so who knows)

Try doing properties>filesystem>partition 0 (up to how many there are)>check partition integrity

Sounds like the freezing is caused by Block GPU Thread (4.0-5971).

I've got this problem too it also freezes on sonic riders ZG, so i back to older version (4.0-5633) it works no freezes even the overclock function enabled.
Also this version (and lastest ver.) have a problem with real/hybrid wiimote and hotkey & controller mappings too... when you press the button you want to map it doesnt detect the button you pressed. but the old verison I had used (4.0-6008) it map the buttons properly no problem
And another problem on lastest version the real wiimote. when I turn off my real wiimote and left the game around 25-30 mins and turn it back, dolphin will freezes when real wiimote is vibrated (connected) so I have to open task manager and stop it and then go back to my used version (4.0-6008) now it work fine I left just dance 4 for 1-2 hours (Break Time) then I back and turn the wiimote on. the game run fine without any freezes.

I downloaded lastest version (4.0-7341) I still have the problem about real wiiremote now its keep disconnect while I'm playing games (NSMBWii and MKWii) (even turn wii speaker data off) I tried to press any button but its doesnt reconnect I tried to turn my wiimote off my wii remote doesnt turn off I have to pull the batteries and press 1+2 now its doesnt connect. so I downloaded 5.0-rc-15 and play NSMBWii the coins doesn't spin I don't know about real wiimote problem on this vesion I think it will happens if I play games for a long time. Now I have to stick with 4.0-5238 because this version is stable it's doesn't have any real wiimote bug even I play it for 2-5 hours It's never disconnected but I don't like NSMBWii on this version because the coins doesn't spin! I love lastest version because the coins spin works in HD.

any solution about this?

This freezing when real wii remote is connected problem happened when I use 4.0-6008 (I download lastest dolphin everyday) but 5xxx or lower versions doesn't happens after I got that problem i'm stick with 4.0-5238 and never update it again until now I downloaded lastest version again I think this problem had been fixed but it's not. it's even worse real remote disconnects when i playing a game and I cant turn off my wiimote so I have to pull batteries off then I tried to connect again it's doesn't connect just blinks.

maybe 4.0-6008 build broke the real wiimote

Now this problem fixed!! Real wiimote now works fine on lastest build I downloaded dolphin 4.0-7373 and I deleted config folder then I copied mac address from old dolphin.config to new dolphin.config and set new hotkeys settings. Now real wiimote works good I played NSMBWii 2.04 hours I never get real wiimote problem again but im not sure about freezing issues I haven't turn off real wiimote and leave it for 1-2 h yet.

If you have this real wiimote issue like me try these
1. Copy mac address from dolphin.config file if you play online games on custom server
2. Delete config folder
3. Open dolphin and it will generate new config file then close dolphin and paste your mac address to new dolphin.config file
4. Set new hotkeys/settings

WARNING: If you not copy your mac address from old dolphin.config dolphin will generate a new one when u launch a game and you can get banned from the server! Also you will be banned on wii if you use real wii nand dump.
