Hello,
Sonic Unleashed is freezing up randomly on every stages i'm trying to play, so i can't do anything else than shutting down Dolphin...
I'm using the last 6027 version of Dolphin, i tried on 6025 but still the same problem.
Does someone has the same problem ?

There's a small video about the problem : http://1drv.ms/1bcdrak

Thanks. Smile

Yeah, that overclocking feature is really unstable. Aren't there enough warnings in the GUI already about it being unstable?

Did you see which CPU he has? AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ 2.20 GHz. I guess underclocking the emulated cpu is the only way to get games to play at "full speed".

So i wouldn't say in general to not use that function, but to be aware that there are lots of games where it causes issues

Well even without the overclock function the game is still freezing randomly... Sad

I tried with another Wii games like The Simpsons Movie, Wii Sport, Mario Galaxy (but this one is still slow and i can't do anything else without upgrading my CPU) and no one of them are freezing ! Smile

I know that my CPU is pretty old but with the newer versions of Dolphin i can "finally" play my favorite Wii/GC games with at least a playable speed Smile

Well thanks for your answer, i wish this problem will be fixed. Sad

How can i check it ?

Anyway, i don't think it's a bad dump cause i tried on Dolphin 4.0.2 and i was able to complete a level... but with worse perfomance of course... Wink

Well the md5 checksum is : 4311815defe3feb52316c997573ec1ad
I don't really know what to do with. Tongue

But it's not useful now, i downloaded a random revision of Dolphin (Dolphin 4.0-5633) and now i can play Sonic Unleashed without problems with great framerate Smile

Thank you anyway for trying to help me.

I can't find any record of that being the right or the wrong md5 (normally I just google the hash and the game's redump page shows up and everything is fine, but that didn't work), so it being a bad dump still isn't out of the question.

GameTDB says that you have the incorrect MD5. Try redumping the game
