For some reason after a reboot of my system, and everything was working fine before, when I launch dolphin my screen goes completely blank. I do not have it set to full screen on game launch, I tried using DX11 and open GL and it still gives me the same unusable blank screen. and I mean blank screen as in the whole screen goes black. I can't close dolphin, I can't get back to windows, it's Fubar, the only thing that gets it back is a cold reboot. and this was all after installing this version. yeah I know it's not the support forum but I figured it might be a need to know. I will be making a post about this in the proper forum too.

Your cpu in that laptop is quite slow however you should get rid of dolphin 3.5 that's probably making your hardware look even slower when playing that game. I recommend you upgrade to the latest development versions of dolphin http://dolphin-emu.org/download/ if that doesnt work try the one i am using in my profile (dolphin-master-4.0-3239-x64) since this build seems to do wonders for games my desktop used to have trouble running. If you still have problems try the laptop performance guide (http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-uno...ance-guide), If you still have problems and you are on default settings its probably time for a new desktop/laptop.

Guys need a little help here.. no major issue.
Just a question. I saw some youtube videos of people playing Metroid Prime with no onscreen crossair. Is it possible to remove the crossair? Or hide it? I´m talking about the green crossair for aiming the arm canon. 10-29-2014, 11:51 AM
This isn't a general help thread. Please make your own topic in Support or General discussion, or better yet, post in the Metroid Prime thread in Game Discussion.

Your system doesn't meet the minimum requirements that Dolphin needs...

There has been a deluge of revisions since then, and while Dolphin has made massive progress, the flurry of development has also added some new bugs that have prevented a new release from being marked as stable. Most developers want to work on new features rather than fix old bugs that need squishing in order to release a new stable version, so a stable version hasn't been released.
