The other part (being slower and slower and slower) depends on how fast and strong is your machine to run the emulator.

Well, it just seemed to me that the "less accurate" versions just had better performance. The gameplay is identical in videos I've seen. Fair enough

Yeah, I've got to agree, this is a MAJOR factor in your performance with Dolphin. I can run Mario Kart, New Super Mario Bros and Sonic Colours fine, but Pokemon Battle Revolution just kills my machine.
