Dolphin (4.0 - 1788) Performance Problems

Hello!
So i've been having this stupid problem with my emulator.
Every game i run runs only at about 70% speed and when i turn on the vbeam speed hack
they run at 200% speed.

Now to my questions:
Is there a way to limit the speed so that i can play with only a 100% with vbeam turned on?
And 2. question:
Why is it only running at 70% in the first place? My PC should have enough power to deal with
a simple gamecube emulation.
In the attachment you see my specs along with the CPU and RAM load.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 is extremely demanding, your processor simply can't cut it. I know, because I'm on a Core i5 3570K and could barely eek out 60 fps most of the time, and even then some stages had my framerate dropping quite a bit. You can destroy the shadows by switching to EFB2Texture after booting the game, lower the internal resolution as much as you can, and mess with various other settings, but this game is just difficult to run.

And no, your computer does not have enough power to deal with a "simple" GameCube game. This is because emulating a GameCube is not a simple task. I could explain more, but, I'm fairly sure the FAQ goes into more detail on why emulating games takes substantially more CPU than the actual console itself.

CPU is slow, sorry. And GameCube emulation isn't "simple"; there are some real demanding GC games (for example Mario Sunshine).

You could try to configure each game individually and avoid really CPU-intensive games. I recommend you enable most speed hacks, use HLE audio, no Vsync and set to auto limiter. Follow the wiki for basic instructions per game.

The a vbeam speed back sometimes causes audio in games to speedup (like in F Zero), there's nothing you can do about it to fix the audio - other than disabling the hack (to my knowledge that is). When the whole games speeds up, you could try experimenting with the different limiters; audio, a fixed framerate or auto.

Sigh. Not that it matters (that wasn't the point of my story), but I could see big spikes in CPU usage during that game - that's why I mentioned it. You can imagine it being any other game you please, just as long as you find it CPU-hungy M'kay?

Whatever, just clarifying... And for next time (and so the OP knows) the demanding titles are SMG, SMG2, MKWii, Zelda TP, Last Story, and many more.
