Hi, so I am trying to play Super Smash Bros Melee and I seem to be getting problems with the sound (high pitched sounds and scratching noises) and it lags when I have 4 players at the same time. I am a total beginner with this emulator and am wondering if anyone can help me adjust the settings so that I can run the emulator and game smoothly. I have tried Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes and it runs perfectly fine.

The specs of my computer are as follows -
Acer Aspire V3-571G-6479

Core i5 3210M - Windows 8 64-bit - 8 GB RAM - 750 GB HDD

2.5 GHz ( 3.1 GHz ) / 3 MB Cache

8 GB DDR3

NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M - 2 GB

1366 x 768 / HD

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all for taking the time to read this.

Use the latest development version. New-AX-HLE fixes that stuff.

You can find the latest development version here: http://dolphin-emu.org/download/

The slowdown you get in four-player matches is simply from having a rather weak CPU. Dolphin's CPU requirements are absolutely fucking ludicrous – an overclocked i5-4670K at 4.5 GHz is necessary to run certain games at full speed – so you may want to keep that in mind if you go computer-shopping any time soon.
