Both are the emulator, but the IL version has an experimental recompiler.

Actually, since build 4891, there is no DolphinIL.exe anymore, it's been merged into Dolphin.exe now.

What version of Windows are you running, is it XP, Vista, Windows 7? And do you know if its 32 bit or 64 bit? (Hold Win-Key and press Pause/Break to check)

You should be using the 32bit version of a 32bit OS, and likewise for 64bit.

As for the shit Graphic your Dolphin has, check your plugin, are you using the Direct3D9 plugin or the OpenGL?
And what graphics card do you have?

You can download the latest versions here.

They are updated almost immediately, all the time.

Direct3D9 is better for performance, OpenGL for graphics and accurary, sometimes it may be the other way around, though, you just have to try.

Your computer specs?

So you're running on a laptop then, I guess.
Well your processor is pretty slow for Dolphin, but even my laptop can somewhat play New Super Mario Bros.

Here's my recommendation.
Use Direct3D plugin, and enable EFB Copy to Texture
Set a frameskip
Disable DTK Music and Audio throttle in your HLE sound plugin.

You may notice a speed boost, but it's very doubtful you will be running a wii game at full speed.
