So pretty much I was trying to get homebrew running in the wii menu and eventually I got it to where it would show up. When I pressed play however, it just restarted the wii menu. Eventually I realized that the wii menu was named 513E (not a typo) which I thought was odd since I specifically downloaded the US version. I then went into the wii menu and wiped the system memory. Once I did this I got a ton of errors about systemconfig files when opening up dolphin and a nonfunctional wii menu. How do I fix this?

Your video shows you trying to use Dolphin 5.0, which si very old and we recommend you use either the latest beta or dev build.
What homebrew are you trying to run from the Wii menu? If you're trying to play a modded version of Mario Kart, it's usually easier to build a modified ISO or use the Riivolution engine that Dolphin supports natively in the latest dev/beta builds. Finally, you may have corrupted your install of the Wii Menu. I don't know if you can repair it, or if you have to delete/redo the Wii folder. Don't try this unless you have your saves backed up, but if you go to Documents > Dolphin Emulator > Wii folder you can delete the folders and Dolphin should rebuild the directory, then you can run the NUS downloader again |
