Yes, on my current i7 system between 55 - 60 FPS, or a full 60 FPS. Now I am getting 30 FPS with this patch and Copy EFB -> Ram.

When the game is running at 30fps, is the game running in slow-mo or is it frameskipping (jittery)? This patch still works well for me. A lot of random hangs have been cured. 10-17-2010, 08:14 PM

Enabling Copy EFB to Texture brings these games back up to full speed, but I was able to play with EFB -> Ram prior to applying the patch without slowdowns. Enabling idle skipping seems to cause slowdowns, in fact the idle skipping portion of the code was commented out an uncommenting has no change, only solution is to disable idle skipping. 10-20-2010, 10:26 AM
It seems that in order to get full speed with Copy EFB -> Ram in NSMB and Wario World, it requires you to enable idle skipping else the framerate will be halved with EFB -> Ram. Copy EFB -> Texture will have the games running at full speed with idle skipping disabled. Something is wrong somewhere, but it isn't this patch causing it so my apologies. The only thing this patch does is disable idle skipping, but the actual problem lies elsewhere.

Now that the speed issues caused by r6288 have been fixed, it seems this patch was not directly responsible for any slowdowns. It seems r6297 or r6304 by Skidau fixed the issue with framerates being halved in some games such as NSMB without idle skipping enabled.

Does this mean we can see this officially commited soon? Sounds like it would be well worth it at this point and there's many games (including my Kirby) that will benefit!!
