Doing the Wiimote 'Shake' function

I've been trying to emulate the 'shake' function with the Wiimote emulator (In this case, it's just shaking the upper part of the control left and right, so more like swinging) and can't find a way for it to work. Have tried mapping and using the Swing, Tilt and Shake X functions to no result at all. And it's the Wiimote, not any extension.

From what I searched, the function appears to be impossible to do, but that might be for older Dolphin versions as I also found fixes for older versions by using a WiimoteMovement.ini file that doesn't appear anywhere in my version, 4.0-1711.

Any help's appreciated!

What action are you trying to perform in which game?

Shaking the upper part of the Wiimote left and right. Don't think it matters too much, but the game's Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World.

You only answered half of my question.
Here's another question to maybe answer:
Have you tried the "Default" (click the "Default" button) emulated wiimote settings and using the middle mouse button?

Yes, I have. Didn't work (Just tried it again to be certain.) Also tried remapping each one of these to a single button and pressing different combinations, but that also didn't work.

OK, I guess my question was poorly worded. Which *In-Game* action are you trying to perform in the game?
I probably won't be able to help more. I don't have that game, but someone else should see the thread and know what is required to do action X in game Y.
