I tried mapping the keys for Animal Crossing, but it doesn't detect my keyboard for whatever reason.

When I try to choose my keyboard, the drop-down box shows all but zilch. None of the posts I could find had this particular problem (they usually just had it on input; I don't even HAVE an input!)

I'm using 4.0.2, although this problem seemed to persist when I tried 4.0 and the 4.9-3669 (all three being x64 from https://dolphin-emu.org/download/ ). The config>gamecube Port 1 is Standard Controller.

I also tried enabling USB Keyboard in config>Wii, but it doesn't seem to have any effect.

Because it won't detect my keyboard, not only can I not play (unless I use TAS input which is painstaking but doable), but I can't map the keys either.

I appreciate any effort to help, and if you need any more information, I will try to provide it.

Ok, so it fixed itself. I figured out that I needed a USB mouse plugged in for it to work (although just why is beyond me...)

Although you guys didn't do anything and it started work by chance and happenstance, I believe it might would've been answered sometime in the future and for that, I sincerely thank you all!
