i want do buy some wii remotes to improve my gameplay at emulator, but i don't have sensor bar. is it needed to play games where you need to point at things using remote(like super mario galaxy) and i need to buy it too, or could i play without it?

You need a sensor bar if you want the pointer to work as well as it does on console. (It is possible to kinda emulate the pointer by configuring Dolphin a certain way if you have MotionPlus in your Wii Remote, but this can lead to problems like drifting, so it isn't quite the same as using a sensor bar.)

Tea candles work OK for a while (as long as the flame is exposed above the tin, and they remain fairly level). It's finicky though, so just ordering a cheap USB sensor bar online is a much better solution. |
