Does the taiko drum controller (tatacon) work?

So I searched the forums but no one mentions if the taiko drum controller works with dolphin ? I tried plugging it after entering the game but that just cut the connection to the wiimote and even that stopped working after attaching tatacon. Anyone got any idea to make it work ?

Dolphin has no notion of which extension is connected when using a "real wiimote" input source.
Any extension should work as long as the game works properly.
