I'm sorry if this question is made a lot inside the forums... but, I need your help.

I just bought the Mayflash sensor bar and tried it out, eager to use my original wiimote.
Because I was quite unsure on how to set up the bar, I visited various tutorials online to see how it was done. However, when it was finally "setup", the bar didn't respond while playing. I tried the different modes that the bar provides, and the windows mode actually works (Awesome mode BTW), but the fourth mode never worked properly in conjunction with dolphin. I installed the so called "drivers", updated the firmware, and nothing changed. Then I saw a post saying that the bar appearently doesn't work with dolphin 4.0.2, and using dolphin 3.5 is essential to restore functionality. Is this true?

Apart from this, I have two questions:
- When I play games that require aiming (Such as Metroid), is it required to have an infrarred bar connected? Or can I connect the controller using a bluetooth dongle?
- What other methods exist for connecting the wiimote or what other tips can you give me to troubleshoot this thing?

Sorry for the amount of questions. Thank you in advance!

4.0.2 is very old and won't work with Dolphin Bar. To use Dolphin Bar in Dolphin you must use mode 4 and Dolphin 4.0-2241 or newer (preferably the latest developer versions) or the 5.0 release candidate versions. In Dolphin, enable continuous scanning and set Wiimotes to Real, then just sync your wiimotes with the bar and start the game. Everything else will just work as if you were on a real Wii. And no, you don't need anything else for games that require aiming, Dolphin Bar have IR LEDs built-in, just like official Sensor Bars...

Is DolphinBar still pretty much the best course for real wiimotes on PC?
