If your going to waste money upgrading that system might as well do one thats going to make a difference. If its not a cheap OEM PC there is a slim possibility that your mobo supports Core2. If not this will give you a ~13% speed increase or buy an HSF and overclock the one you got now.

More ram doesn't speed emulation in Dolphin or any other emu, just loading times. So it's not going to give more fps or something like that.

Of course Dolphin can freeze now and then because of low ram issues (depending on the game) but at least 2 gb should be enough for this, and make sure you are not running memory intensive apps in the background.

So more ram means less chance of crashing???
coz i got ssbb, and it's speed is good, but crashes randomly

faster ram is better, but unless you have an i7 first or second gen setup, you aren't going to benefit from higher than DDR3 1333 without a major overclock to the uncore.
