Is there any reason to believe the OP illegally downloaded the game title in mention? Let's not do that, if there is no reason to assume so.

On a side note not related to PAL, if you need more performance you might want to set the CPU Clock Override to below 100%. Some games might not be that demanding and could still be working fine on a lower CPU Clock Override. Still, be warned it might causes issues.

Android does has CPU Clock Override, right?

oh it does and i definitely use the overclock feature. its how i get super smash and twilight princess to play so smoothly on my phone. but if PAL games run smoother than NTSC games since its less fps for the emulator to work with then that would be great. the smoother and faster, the better imo.

A reminder about our Forum Rules:

Quote:Reporting Piracy:We're not investigating/searching for reasons to ban. Asking too many questions, like, "where did you get the game", is no one's business. Not knowing how to dump a game is not an admission of guilt. If a user mentions downloading, they get banned. If a user doesn't mention it, nothing happens, and we then all assume they own the game. Do not harass forum users or report them unless they admit to downloading illegal content.

Admittedly, the title of the thread does read like Magic-king is asking about "scene" releases, but that by itself is not proof they have downloaded anything. But we try to avoid "witch hunts", which actually were a problem in the past.

It's all suspicious, in which case I will remind Magic-king that downloading copyrighted games is illegal without permission from the owner of the game. We do not support that activity here. You need to dump/rip the games yourself.

from what im seeing , its cause pal games need like25 to 50 fps to run full speed while ntsc needs 30 to 60. so since pal has a lower fps requirement ,the emulator and device doesnt have to work as hard to have the game run at full speed. this is from what i gathered so far. also cause someone here said that mario sunshine definitely plays smoother on the pal version rather than ntsc version.

From what i see wii games are forced into 60fps (i think) but gamecube show a difference when it comes to pal and ntsc games

That's not true. The majority of Wii games support 50 Hz, but they'll only use it if you haven't turned on PAL60 in the settings. (I don't remember if that setting is in the Android GUI or not.)

Oo i see.. idk then lol. Is there a difference between the two or is it like a placebo effect? I just did a couple of rounds of pal smash melee and it feels like it plays smoother and not as much audio stuttering.
