I wonder how they can identify DeSmuMe from a real DS and block it? Huh

Did they block the ip of the computer DeSmuMe was running on or the actual emulator?

They might be sniffing MAC addresses or some other identifying signatures to verify if a DS in their network is a real one.

Nintendo can try whatever they want. but they can't stop the devs to develop the emulator...

But they do have good reasons for blocking emulators from connecting to the official servers...
You can't just issue software patches to ds games when exploits and cheats are found (like on PC games),
all it takes is just a few dozen desmume users cheating on Nintendo's servers/using hacks/AR and they will probably take legal action against the owners.

Yeah...They can stop the emulators at official servers only few instances....but not always.
One thing devs can do that they can create a wi-fi simulation which is not compatible with the real server.

DeSmuME users can compete on their own with their own servers...DeSmuME OFFICIAL server.... LOLTongue

Pokesav do i need an extra things for it cause i need to save money for the rest of the year in order to get all the upcoming Wii games i want and also in the unlikely event that the 3DS is released before the end of the year. We could always trade ourselves cause i need Groudon just for that infernal green orb after i get it then i could trade it back to you.

NO NO!!!!! You are thinking wrong!!! Pokesav is a SOFTWARE that can decode your Pokemon D/P save file so that you can edit your ANY aspect of your saved game. You can create new Pokemons of lvl 100, shiny pkmns, with full stats (even 999, as mine Tongue) you can order some event pkmns too...and also can you use your Diamond save file on pearl and vice versa. I all tried it myself and I am content with it.....
