Does new super mario bros wii work with gamepad?

new super mario bros wii only works with a wiimote, but i like to play my games with a gamepad, cause thats all i have . anyone know how to map the wiimote controls to be able to work almost or near good on the gamepad? its ok if its not possible cause i dont actually care about what nintendo makes these days.
