Does GPU texture decoding help on the star wars rogue squadron games?

After a recent merger for better accuracy (forgot what it was called), the star wars rogue squadron games have seen a major slowdown.  Would GPU texture decoding help with that?

Probably not. RS is slow for many reasons.

But, why not just try? I see a lot of these threads that can be answered by "Boot the game and find out"

Probably not yet, but it should be pretty trivial to add. But why not just keep it enabled globally? I'm pretty sure it will never decrease performance, even if it doesn't give you any noticeable gains.
