Can you link to the device? I've never heard of 3.5mm microphone addons for the Wii. Just USB.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I meant can I use the normal (3.5mm microphone that we use them in PC/Mobile) in Dolphin (Wii games) ?

because I don't have USB microphone.

Thank you.

Oh, no. Sorry.

Dolphin doesn't support that. No headphone jack. #AllHailApple

Odd question do you have to code specifically to support varying audio input methods?

Well, I know SDL2 has support for audio recording, and Dolphin could use that. It's cross-platform, so ideally you just write the code once and it's portable to different OSes. I haven't fooled around much with audio recording in SDL2, but generally you don't need to do anything fancy for using different audio input devices. SDL2 and your OS work together well enough so that you basically just ask for audio data and it's there.

We would have to emulate a Wii USB microphone, and then feed it an audio stream which in turn gets fed to core.

It's possible, just nobody has done the work to support this.
