Like the titel suggests: is there a gamecube emulator out there that has an usb connection instead of the original gamecube one?
I don't have a controller at the moment but I would like to buy one, and if possible without an adapter.

I would love something like this.

Wow I dont think that could have been worded that any worse. Thankfully you attached an image. This is very possible to have made no it does not yet exist. This guy makes adapters but also can put his chips in side a controller because they are so small in design. This way you get a usb cable instead of the Nintendo GC plug.

Well consider.

" is there a gamecube emulator out there "
Well the best know Emulator is Dolphin, by no means is it the only one. This was your "topic" Your asking about emulators.

"that has an usb connection"
Now this is where you really mess things up because emulators by the majority of people are software not hard ware. So how could an emulator have any kind of connection? Further, one could assume you meant that emulators use USB connectors from the computer that they run on but your asking for a usb connection and it already has one?

" instead of the original gamecube one? "
The only emulator that would have access to a game cube port would be one that runs on a game cube. And again its not the emulator that has the GC port its the system, plus why would you want a game cube based emulator to run a game cube?

I think you meant.
"is there a gamecube controller out there that has an usb connection instead of a gamecube port?"
but I could not have made that assumption right off the bat.

Get one official GC controller if you can (not easy I know :p). It's better than anything else.

Btw it might be possible with future GC adapter release for WiiU. We still don't know if controllers will be re-released
