I have a wiimote motion plus, model RVL-CNT-01

I tried to connect to Dolphin 5.0 on both Windows and Android and failed.

I can add it through bluetooth on Windows and Android. But Dolphin doesn't recognize as a real wiimote.

I wonder if it is supported by 5.0, if it does, what should I do to connect it. If not, what can I try?

Thanks!

Yes. But Dolphin 5.0 is over 4 years old. Consider using a recent build.
You should not be connecting Wii remotes using Windows Bluetooth utilities. Use the "Refresh" button in Dolphin.

Thanks for reply.
I downloaded the lastest version yesterday, should be 5.0-12716

I could not get it connected in Dolphin - (set real wiimote, continuous scan, and press 1/2 to wait for connecting), I then tried connect it directly. Neither worked

I am more about the Android side, I pick Real Wii Remote and set continuous scan. It says "DolphinBar required", I don't DolphinBar, I wonder if it need DolphinBar because Android bluetooth stack doesn't support the controller or what. I want to know if it is possible to use the RVL-CNT-01 on Dolphin on Android without a DolphinBar.

You are correct that Android requires the DolphinBar to work with real Wii remotes.

Connecting Wii remotes on Windows can be problematic. Try the sync button instead of 1+2.
You can also try allowing Dolphin to take over your Bluetooth adapter with "Bluetooth Passthough". https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Bluetooth_Passthrough

I wonder what else controller I should buy to play the wii sport on Android. Instead of spending $60 on a DolphinBar that is most likely end of life.

Great!
I gave up Android.
I installed Dolphin on a gaming laptop, magic! wiimote works on it with my wii sensor bar! can play wii sport. Unbelievable!

Now I wonder how can I attach the wii motion plus and nunchuk to the controller. They look good with solid blue. But the wii sport resort game still says it cannot find wii motion plus.

could someone help here. Thanks!
