Forget it, this is beyond way too much of a hassel.

i have a very high powered system and the right graphics card, I have followed the configurations, I have the right games and it refuses to even get past certain screens

I have always had this exact type of problems with thsi emulator and only this one.

I have also had the same hangup issue on any computer I put this on so I do not see how anyone is getting this to work on lower end systems even though we have the same exact settings.

There is nothing to cause this hang up to happen.

It fades to black after it shows the warning and the words fade too, then it freezes.

RE4 works 100% on dolphin. I made a topic on it ½ a year ago. If that doesn't work for you, nothing will.

OK this is odd I got RE Zero Working but the sound is a garbeled at various places such is if I shoot or something plus it sounds staticy but I'm assuming the sound in RE zero really cannot get 100% flawless either

But the thing i find messed up is how RE 1 doesn't work at all?

Are you guys sure that the first release of the Game Cube Version of Resident Evil actually works or are you guys talking about a different remake?

Yes it works, and no, it isn't a different Remake. There was only one real remake and that was for Gamecube, other versions were basically ports of the PS1 game.

Are you sure you are using DSP-HLE and not DSP-LLE for the audio plugin? Also, use the Dsound audio backend, not OpenAL. Since you can pretty much run every game at full speed, you should not have as many issues with sound desyncs as other users do with the Dsound backend.

Also uncheck LLE on thread, it's only used by the LLE plugin and doesn't work very well anyway. Also be sure you don't have XFB enabled, or are using projection hacks, projection hacks aren't required by these games.

As I asked before, have you disabled hyper-threading in your bios? You will need to disable hyper-threading when using Dolphin or you will have these types of issues. Your issues could also be driver related, or possibly a corrupt image as mentioned in previous posts.

Ok first of all RE Zero absolutely does not work 100% as I have been seeing in a number of compatibility lists. The sound is still off in it it's garbeled it's staticy, and it echos a lot And secondly you cannot disable anything in this intel i7 so this hyper threading thing you keep saying to make sure is off, does not even exist as a function you can turn on or off.

As for this:
Quote:Also be sure you don't have XFB enabled, or are using projection hacks
Sorry but those 2 options do not even exist in Dolphin 2.0. In Fact there are a lot of options people keep saying to check or uncheck that are simply not even in the 2.0 version of the dolphin.

I think I'm going to record a video showing the configurations in the dolphin and then people can see and listen to the audio mess for themselves before saying it's not configured correctly

It should be in your bios, you know the thing when you first start your computer and you can press a certain key to enter the bios. That should allow you to disable certain CPU/Motherboard functions such as speedstep, thermal throttling, and hyper-threading although it might not specifically be referred to as hyper-threading in the bios.

Well XFB might not work for the DX9 plugin in the official build since that feature was added for the DX9 plugin in later svn builds. Projection hacks can be selected by right clicking the game on the game list, clicking properties and choosing a projection hack. Projection hacks can be selected in the graphics configuration itself only with the OpenGL plugin, for the DX9 plugin you need to select projection hacks by right clicking the game on the game list and clicking properties. However that is moot, since projection hacks aren't needed for these games.

Your right, sound doesn't work 100% for these games, whoever posted that obviously has never played the game on the actual hardware else these sound issues would have been quite apparent to them. In Remake at least and possibly zero, background music and ambient music has a tendency to cut out or is missing notes. When Jill plays "Moonlight Sonata" on the piano, it sometimes doesn't play and when it does play, it is missing certain notes. That echoing issues does indeed happen with Zero, I've noticed it on the title screen, when switching partners and various points throughout the game.

Ok that clears some things up because I was under the assumption because of how this was being explained that RE Zero can be played perfectly with both sound and graphics.

So RE Zero at this point still is having sound issues.

If its any use at all.....
Resident Evil Remake ( the wii version) runs better than any other game I've tried on r5634 (twin snakes crashes endlessly) with my DX9 settings as in the screenshots, I'd suggest trying that and I only have dual core E7400 @2.80 & NVIDIA GeFore 9500GT.
