That's cool. Seems like only the Nintendo emulators got it lol.

The Playstation emulator could really do with it IMO... even running textures through waifu2X would be a massive improvement.

I think it would be neat if pcsx2 had a Tino on their team. I would love to do some modification on Kingdom Hearts 2. With all the effects ishiiruka has, I bet I could make it look close to kingdom hearts III.

Speaking of waifu2x, it's amazing. Is it a standalone enhancement algorithm or a combination of others algorithms (HQ2x, etc...)?
From France with love.

it's a very slow standalone algorithm based around neural networks. there's a slightly faster cuda (nvidia gpu) version.

There are some much faster upscaling algorithms: NEDI, NNEDI, NNEDI3, SuperRes. These are designed for movies or non-pixel-art, but could work well for antialiased textures or sprites.

NNEDI3 seems to be popular for upscaling movies/anime. It seems to be both an upscaling and deinterlacing algorithm.

NEDI stands for "new edge-directed interpolation", or preserving sharp edges. Demonstration: http://chiranjivi.tripod.com/EDITut.html

Hyllian wrote a NEDI shader of some sort: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-unofficial-ishiiruka-dolphin-custom-version?pid=404890#pid404890

Thanks a lot.
Yeah, as I thought, it's very slow.
