I'm not requesting any file, just asking if the Dolphin emulator requires a BIOS or system ROM to run Wii games, appart from the game ISO itself, as other emulators do.

no.
you only need GC dsp rom if you're running dolphin using DSP LLE, other than that, no.

no idea what it stands for, but just mentioning that you need a GameCube or Wii to dump the DSP files needed to use it on Dolphin, otherwise you can only use DSP HLE for the audio
DSP HLE is less accurate audio emulation, but with the LLE files the audio is perfect at the cost of slower framerates for weaker systems (i think) 07-15-2011, 02:49 PM
DSP HLE stands for high level emulation where most tasks are done on your sound card and it uses very little CPU. LLE stands for low level emulation and uses the CPU heavily as silveruniverse said. If you have the files and a strong enough CPU to run it you should use LLE.
