Hi guys, there is a new service called Riiconnect24 (https://riiconnect24.net/), it needs a specific DNS to work properly but setting it in the settings menu won't work... it seems that DNS setting is not taken into account by the emulator... is this a bug or is it intentional ?

I don't know if this applies here, but when using this: https://github.com/polaris-/dwc_network_server_emulator

You have to actually change the DNS server in your computer settings. Should be under network connections -> right click network adapter -> properties -> Internet protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4)

I can get it to dolphin to connect properly locally if I host the server in virtualbox but doesn't work if I try to run it on another machine on the same network. Do you know what might cause this?

In virtualbox machine setting it under network, Try changing it from nat to bridged adapter. Your going to choose the network device you want. I don't know if it work with dolphin but it how I using virtualbox for file servers when I need a quick machine for other people to get file from my computer.

I do a lot of work with VMs for my job, and Virtualbox has some weird stuff going on with their networking and the way that NAT and Bridged adapters work. The free VMware player has way better networking support.

Also try turning off the firewall on your VM
