I have attempted pass through but get a bluetooth error.

Tried setting to Real Wii remote with continuous enabled.
This results in either no connection (stop flashing), all 4 lights go solid blue and still not connected, the remote won't stop vibrating and isn't connected. The later 2 cases I have to pull the batteries to reset them. Results the same if I try with either remote.

Attempted the controller settings with and without the emulation running.

I have a ps5 dual sense that is connected and emulates just fine, so it can see some controllers.

I have attempted to connect the controllers to windows manually via the devices and printers screen, it will connect and then turn off since no app is using it.

To head off some replies, yes I checked out https://dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/conf...Wii_Remote. I've also checked out several youtube videos of people syncing their remotes with dolphin.

Some third party Wiimotes really just don't like to work properly sometimes. What Bluetooth adapter are you using, the one in your computer, a USB adapter, or a real Wii bluetooth module adapted for PC use?

Using it for multiple types of remotes for other things, so the driver would be a no go.  I might just have to get something off the list of controllers people have already tested since nintendo brand remotes are near impossible to find at reasonable prices now.

It's gotta be something else at this point and not the remotes, I've tried several more third party wii motes that all have people saying they work. I caved in and found some nintendo brand wii motes and a wii mote with motion plus. Nothing connects in dolphin while continuous is set or via the manual refresh button.

It sounds like it's an issue with the driver for that Bluetooth device. You may want to look into getting a Bluetooth adapter from the list, flashing the Zadig driver, and then using it exclusively for your Wiimotes

The root issue being that my spouse doesn't want to "throw" a dual sense controller when playing wii bowling, I think what I'll do is just stop screwing with the wii motes entirely and get some pc compatible joycons since they have all the same functionality and more without the sync issues. I've built a new computer that has a built in BT adapters, the wii remotes sync now so it would be the adapter I pasted up that would be the issue with the remotes most likely. For reference the new adapter is from a Z790 Aorus Elite AX by Gigabyte. I was also able to update the BT drives without losing connectivity to my other devices as well. So pot luck if it was the driver or hardware.
