DK Returns Netplay Issues

Hey there,

a friend and i wanted to play Donkey Kong Country Returns over Netplay, but we ran into some problems.
We tried using the newest build, but when we start the game over Netplay it just stays black and does not load.
We also tried to use the unofficial "gaming" release (Ishiiruka-Dolphin Custom Version). The game actually runs very smooth in it, and if we start it over netplay it also starts fine, but we cannot use any input.
Both of us are using a Xbox360 Controller, while having it configured as an Emulated Wiimote.

What is the suggested setup for playing games over Netplay in regards to the Controller-Pads? What is the process?
The only thing configured under "Controllers" for both of us is ONE emulated Wiimote in "Wiimote 1". All GC Pads are set to "None".
Still if we open "Configure Pads" in Netplay it just assigns both of us Pad0 and Pad1. Even if we change it manually to Wiimote 0 and Wiimote 1 it does not work.
We also tried to press Alt-F5 and Alt-F6, but it just shows "Wiimote 1 Connected, Wiimote 1 Disconnected".

What are we doing wrong?

Did some digging again today: So as soon as i select my friend as Wiimote1 in "Configure Pads" the game won't start.
If i configure 2 emulated wiimotes and select myself for both Wiimote0 and Wiimote1 it works fine and i can play both characters, but he can't do anything.

Make sure all wiimotes have the same extension set, you have to do it manually.

Having the same issue over netplay and can't get it to work on Ishi build either. (Running on latest of both)

Just starts into a black screen. Switching to the Ishiiruka build actually didn't solve the problem whatsoever.

Have you tried running the game with dual core turned off?
