DK Bongos help

Hello! First time posting on this forum because my friend happened to have some DK Bongos laying around and the urge to play Jungle Beat was way too strong, anyway I've been trying to play for the past few days and nothing has worked! I updated with zadig, set the controller layout to DK bongos. Not sure what to do. Pls help Sad

What adapter do you use? If it's a mayflash adapter make sure to flip the switch to wii u mode instead of pc

It's the official wii u gamecube adapter.

Did you set the controller as bongos or as the wii u adapter and enabled bongos?

I just set it to DK Bongos, not sure how to do the other way. :?

I assume you are using the wii u adapter in which case you need to set it to that.
