Great news, I was waiting this cpu before upgrading my obsolete i5 750. I'll have to wait a few months but I see an Ivy Bridge in my near future.

I thought you guys were joking with that Skymont thing but when I Googled it I realized it was the future CPUs from Intel.

Still a couple of years left though.

Would you say it will run just as fine with the 3770? I feel like I should of spent the extra 20-70(70 since I was thinking about using water cooling).

Get a K version of the CPU, always.
You're going to regret it if you attempt to play heavier games that require some OC'ing.

Besides, you don't need watercooling. Air cooling is more than enough and costs a whole lot less money and stress.
