Hello I am new to this forum I have a problem and it seems to not want to go away with any aforementioned methods of dealing with it. I run dolphin 5.0 and can connect a wii motion plus wiimote perfectly fine; however, the game I try to play doesn't recognize the inputs of the wiimote, and in skyward sword, it sits on the health and safety for a while then says that my controller is disconnected, but dolphin says it is connected. I would really like some help with getting this to work, it is a fairly odd problem, and I haven't found any other posts on forums that have dealt with this issue specifically, so any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks in advance,

So the problem is that inputs are not detected? Is your Wiimote an official or third-party one? Do you use a DolphinBar?
If it's a third-party Wiimote, you won't have a lot of luck getting it working with Windows. related thread 08-27-2016, 02:40 AM
I have this problem as well. Windows 10, RVL-CNT-01-TR. It keeps disconnecting. I can get it set with Windows but then Dolphin never sees it. I've followed the instructions but when set with Real WiiMote and "refresh" it never finds it. If I press any buttons, all the lights on the wiimote blink and then the controller drops from the bluetooth pair.

Ok I had the same problem, but the dolphin bar fixed that one, however someone said that a 3rd party controller doesn't work I can try a new wiimote that is made by Nintendo, but that would take a while I just wanted that answer. If I do need an actual Nintendo wiimote then I guess I will get one. so the dolphin bar will connect whatever controller to your pc, but there is no guarantee that it would work properly with dolphin if it is a 3rd party controller. Yes I am using a dolphin bar and yes I am using (currently) a third party wiimote. 08-29-2016, 05:21 PM
Thanks leolam that cleared a few things up for me, guess it pays to buy the nicer controllers.

It doesn't really pay for Wiimotes that do work with a Wii (especially as the official ones have become quite expensive), unless you use Windows.
