Disc 1 and Disc 2

I successfully formatted the virtual memory card and saved my game.

The only problem is that when I load disc two and load the memory card, it freezes.

Is there a way to like connect disc 1 and disc 2..?

Because on disc 1 I save the game right before I play one more battle. I play that battle without being able to save and then the game goes to a cut scene and then it goes black... I'm guessing when it goes black that's time to change discs.

And so I change discs and load my game from disc one.

What am I doing wrong??

I'm using a gamecube game. It's called, "The Lord of the Rings - The Third Age."

Here is what the wiki says:
Please note that the game may seem to hang at the end of the East Emnet Gullies level. You have to select the second disk of the game at this point (File > Change Disc). May need RealXFB to display the change disc image.

So try realxfb to see if it shows anything
