Disaster: Day of Crisis issue

I have run into an issue playing Disaster: Day of Crisis. I am playing Dolphin 5.0 and I have been able to find a solution to everything in the game thus far. But during stage 2 of the game there is a minigame that requires the player to lift both the Wii Remote and Nunchuck to lift rocks off of people. No matter what I try with the emulated controller I am absolutely unable to perform this. This essentially means the game is only playable up until the end of Stage 2 as this task is REQUIRED to progress. Has a solution to this problem been found or am I doing something wrong?
