Hey guys, so i wanted to have the GameCube intro in Dolphin, i made it work but it was glitchy, then Dolphin Wiki advised me to disable XFB (External Frame Buffer) and disabling it made it work perfectly, but i've noticed that Mario Galaxy 2 was having some slow downs, so does this XFB thing really impacts performance? I'm playing at 720P (Internal Resolution) and upscaled to 1080P (my monitor's native resolution) Thanks for the help guys
Disabling External Frame Buffer impacts performance?

Disabled should be faster, except (maybe?) xfb on is doing the thing where it causes something like 55 fps 60 vps.

Enabling XFB definitely is a performance hit.
SMG2 is also not a light game to emulate, your CPU is a bit dated (not that big of a deal), and your GPU is very old and slow. This is likely the issue. 12-09-2016, 03:58 AM
Actually you ENABLE xfb to get GC bios working.
From France with love.

Yeah, but it's still a performance hit. And most users don't care about that little spinning cube.
