There is no word on Xbox One Controller compatibility with PC?

Would assume DirectX12 would come with Xinput2 .

The article linked doesn't list any specific differences or specs. If we don't know anything about what it does differently then how are we supposed to draw any meaningful conclusions or make any accurate predictions about how it could impact an application like dolphin? At this point we know just as much about d3d12 as we do about d3d14, absolutely nothing. You couldn't possibly have any meaningful conversation about it at this point because there is nothing to discuss. We don't know anything about it yet.

So let's say DX 12 was implemented... and from what we read here, the workload is spread out, bringing it all down to 50%, making full use of mullti-cpu setups.. and more accurately for this thread, budget PCs that still aren't able to fully run all the perfected perks, offered in the most recent builds of dolphin.

You see where I'm getting at? Dolphin currently utilizes dual-cpus, implement this... and it should be yet another big step in optimization, wouldn't it?

,No, I don't see what you're getting at, except that you have no idea what you're talking about.

Budget PCs ARE able to use these new features. "Budget" doesn't mean "old", you should know. As long as your computer isn't massively old, it's got something to gain from new builds. And massively old computers rarely run anything in Dolphin anyways, making such a comparison moot in the first place, since they are already not viable for Dolphin at all.

Everything you have said is hype and unwarranted extrapolation. Please, do not SAY ANYTHING or ASK ANYTHING about DX12 until the proper specs (and not buzzwords) are released.
in a perfect world we would all be piles of sand with no ability to form coherent bodies of body

I meant at Max Settings, nor did I mean old, not every modern setup is automatically capable like that. In my honest opinion, it's all anything BUT "buzzword". I suppose the announcement of DX 11 at the time with it's details also shared through multiple reports, was also irrelevant right?

Just because you don't have the full specs to ANYTHING, doesn't mean the few details provided aren't official.. :\

because IT IS official word from the COMPANY ITSELF being fed to hungry journalists afterall! Unless there's an explosive epidemic on the subject I haven't been notified about???

Don't give me that crap! lmaoooo

and you sir, is it not true dolphin is currently limited in utilizing only 2 cores?

We never said the buzzwords weren't official, just that they contain no information.

Dolphin uses 3 cores when LLE audio is on a thread. Also, your speculation has no basis right now. DX12 may take some load off of the cpu and it may not. Noone knows and won't know for a little while. I understand your computer has an amd cpu so you're hoping this announcement will mean better performance on your computer, but for now don't worry about it.

Uh.. yeah whatever, try again when there is actual information about Direct3D 12. At this stage all I can say about D3D 12 is the same as about Mantle: D3D 12 is useless, stop buying the media hype.
