shoot that is a shame. I give a damn ; ; lol. because I am able to run at a waaay higher resolution with rock solid framerates in dx12, which is important in 3d and with older pc's like my broke ass has lol. also just the fact that I see such better performance in that circumstance seems safer idk why it has to work so hard to do a crappier job on other APIs. read something about x30 performance gains in dx12 and it really feels like it. but I digress! I trust the team's judgement and we'll all have faster pc's on more universal APIs soon enough, plus I don't even see any glitches on 4.0-9505-x64 anyway (last working dx12 in 3d version) for the games i'm playing where I feel I need dx12 (twilight princess and Zelda master collection--majora's mask). thanks!

You can use Vulkan and probably get the same performance in those titles...
nope, I have tried vulkan vs dx12 on the latest version of everything and I still get better fps on dx12 on these games. it is very noticeable in 3d because everything has to render twice and certain titles go from unplayable fps with sound glitches to 100% tolerable / (virtually) no sound glitches on my pc's. but thanks for the advice and I understand that dev will go where it will and appreciate all the efforts 100% satisfied since I found the most recent dx12 version where 3d was still working with no discernable glitches when I need it (other than 5.1 sound in openAL taking a sec to kick in--there was no directsound 5.1 back on 4.0-9505-x64--the last working directx12 in 3d version. otherwise very impressed with dolphin's progress up to even this version. as i said twilight princess full fps @ 1.5x in 3d for me now, totally smooth, no artifacts. that was never a thing for me before lol. love it . and I do choose other APIs for other games, w/e gives me best results. strangely opengl dx11 and vulkan perform better in different circumstances--depending on titles for me. so i just choose w/e is best lol. that said i hope they don't drop dx12 support even if they leave it as is (maybe revert the aspect of it where 3d didn't crash, if possible).

if you can bisect to when Stereo 3D stopped working in D3D12, we can probably fix it.
please find the exact revision it stopped working if you can. 05-01-2017, 04:35 AM

That seems strange. 4.0-9507 is supposed to behave identically to 4.0-9505 except on Mac OS X. But who knows, maybe it's some obscure issue with what SDK the buildbot had installed... |
