I've been using Hd texture packs for Brawl/PM and paper Mario. Everything works great on direct x 11 but if I try them on 12 I get weird graphical glitches (quick flashing lines) on screen frequently. The issue seems to go away if I play in windowed mode instead of full screen. Is this already known to happen on direct x 12? I'll try to get a screen cap soon.
MY SPECIFICATIONS:
Razer Blade (2014)
CPU 2.2-GHz Intel Core i7-4702HQ
Operating System Windows 10
Hard Drive Size 256GB SSD
Graphics Card Nvidia GeForce GTX 870M/Intel HD Graphics 4600
RAM 8GB
Video Memory 3GB
Usually using the current stable build or Ishiiruka if I need something specific.

Weird. Does it happen in build 4.0-9028?

https://dolphin-emu.org/download/dev/c82...eb557fb39/

This is the build right before some changes and fixes to D3D12 happened.

it was happening in 4.0-9135. I'll try the older build in a bit.

I tried the older build. the graphical issues are not present in full screen but I could not get full speed for smash anymore. What were the changes to the direct x 12 implementations?

Interesting.

I'll ping IRC with this. And you're positive you were playing on your 870M and not your HD4600

Can you try this build, it's a PR implementing some things to D3D12. Including some texture pack fixes.

I'm pretty sure it was running on the 870m. I have it forced in the Nvidia control panel. I'll double check now.

The issue still persists Sad. I am using the Nvidia 870m btw. I would love to screen cap or record some footage but nothing I have will record direct x 12 properly. (obs/shadowplay/dolphin) I might just use my phone to record the screen.

A recording of the issue would be somewhat helpful. It's also helpful to know that this doesn't happen before a D3D12 fixing PR.

Hint: Video backend issues can likely be checked with fifo logs. So just try to record one of the broken scene, and check if it replays fine on the other backends. If so, this fifolog is everything required to debug this issue.

Hint: As this is usually the first step to debug such issues, half of the work is already done. So such bug reports are much more likely to get fixed soon.
