dificulties staying connected

hey all

I have a wiimote (official, came with wii) and i am having difficulties staying connected.
I can add the device in the bluetooth "add a device", it completes and afterwards it shows up in 'bluetooth devices'. The problem is that 10 seconds after the connection, the lights on the wiimote stop flashing, it will either disappear or grey out in 'bluetooth devices' and i wont be able to connect it to dolphin, but i can press 1+2 again and add it again, and again, and again.

any help would be appreciated.

might help if you list your bluetooth dongle and what stack you use.

I am using my laptops built in wireless "Dell Wireless 370 Bluetooth Minicard" with the 'widcomm' stack, latest compatible version.
