Difficulty registering wiimote cursor with spellforces 5192 revision

So I am trying to run Monster Hunter 3 with dolphin and have spent a lot of time reading forums and finding the most compatible builds, and spellforces revision 5192 seems to work very nicely,

The problem however Is that I cannot figure out how to register the wiimote's aiming cursor - I would like to use it with the mouse and am using an xbox 360 controller to emulate the classic controller, but the only option for the cursor seems to be 'IR pointer' which is just drag-able bars with numbers but I don't understand how to set it... It looks like this:

Any help would be greatly appreciated Smile

That's a very old revision, maybe you should try using something newer like 3.0 or 3.0-690. We can't really help you with such old versions.

Dell XPS 17

Nvidia GeForce GT 555M

I understand your point, but its a revisions which I believe has MH3 specifically in mind - the game has issues with the most recent revisions which I have tried using.

Largely the Bloom, which causes the game to be extremely overbright, but this build helps fix that with hotkeys - just can't figure out the wii-mote cursor... :/

Yeah, old revisions like that aren't supported here on the forums, in any way. Recent builds have since fixed the MH3 bloom, or at least Neobrain claims that is the case. Take a look at Issue 2068

Quote:Marking as fixed, since the main issue got fixed by revision e58692653afd.

Any other issues with blur should be reported separately now. Note that the blur in Monster Hunter Tri is fixed by enabling EFB access (since EFB color pokes are implemented now).

I think you'll find these changes in 3.0-423 and up. Try the latest rev with MH3 and enable EFB CPU access (or whatever it's called) and see if the game runs ok. Then we'll help you with the wiimote cursor. It should be easier to get the cursor working on a more recent rev anyway. If the bloom is still messed up, complain to neobrain Wink

I have managed to fix these problems - using Dolphin 3.0-690; There is no problem with bloom being present and the cursor was simple to setup, unlike those odd number bars (lol). Thank you to all who commented on this thread and the suggestions, much appreciated ^^
